Christian Challenge

Welcome to the college page! We would like to invite you to our Sunday morning class and Christian Challenge. We do many activities during the school year including Christian concerts, BBQ's, game nights, and movie nights. During CC we have a bit of fellowship, game, homemade goodies, and a Bible Study.

As the year has come to an end Shaphan and I thought we would share a little bit about our 2008-2009 year in Christian Challenge. We met every Sunday night at the Pratt Community College Recreation Room. Our kids arrive to some homemade eating and hanging out time. We follow that with a group game, which is ALWAYS crazy! This year we used the NOOMA video series. Rob Bell speaks on many topics that are where our students are at in their lives. Shaphan continues the discussion with questions in many different ways.

We scheduled many activities throughout the school year that included a Super Bowl Party and concerts. We ended the year with a picnic at the Pratt County Lake on Mother’s Day. Our student total this year was around 30. They all enjoyed the homemade goodies from our ladies. Thank you to Judy Anderson, Peggy Lee, Linda Alley, Lila Morgan, June Gawith, Donni Mierise, Jennifer Ezell, Camille Rexroad, Patsy Fittro, Pat Rosenaum, and Joyce Whitfield. Many of our kids are far away from homemade cooking and appriciate all that you do for them. Please contact Shaphan or I if you would like to feed these college students next year.

Shaphan and I would like to also thank our church for supporting this vital ministry to college students. We love these kids and they hold a special part in our hearts (many become like our own children). We are already gearing up for 2009-2010. Please pray for our new and returning students that they may open their hearts to hear the TRUTH and to live it.
