Prayer Ministry

"Set your heart"

Psalm 119:112 “My heart is set on keeping your decrees to the very end”. Devotion to the Word of God is the dominant theme in Psalm 119. Most of its lines are addressed to God, mingling prayers with professions of devotion to God’s law. Yet, it was intended for Godly instruction also.  The author highlights two aspects of the Word of God: One being God’s directives for life and the second God’s promises.  The first, calling for obedience and the second faith.  Psalm 119 has a theme as big as life that ranges the length, breadth, height and depth of a person’s walk with God.  It is written with 8 verses under each alphabet letter of the Hebrew language.  Nothing less than the use of the full power of language would suffice so the alphabet was a most appropriate symbol.

Monthly prayer time

On the first Sunday of each month we gather to pray for our church. This year we will be praying through Psalm 119, which is where our 2024 theme is based from. We would love for you to join us as everyone is invited to come and pray with us. We meet in the small dining room at 5pm.
